Now we are close to the best part of it – almost PHP 27.5 billion of the total revenue was allocated for the development of the country. The Universal Health Care Law figure got a huge increase of PHP 14.72 billion. The rest? They are building up public schools, community centers and those necessary e-learning facilities that the children in all corners of the archipelago are craving for.
Tengco pointed out very clearly that gaming money is not just lying around doing nothing at all. It is an active participant in making the Filipino people’s lives better by providing education, healthcare and community development programs.
While the operators who are playing the game according to the rules and large contributions are increasing in number, there are gambling sites that are increasing at a tremendous rate. Just like that, these illegal platforms are robbing the future of the whole of mankind. They are not paying taxes; thus, they are not contributing to healthcare or schools and if that is not enough, they are plunging the players into a very dangerous situation.
