Just recently, the gambling regulator in the Netherlands has taken strong actions against two big online casinos. Several users were unable to withdraw their money, which in no way is an ideal situation to be a bettor.

As usual, everything went haywire when a player, out of frustration, reached the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), which is the gaming supervisor in Holland, saying they were not able to get their money from ZEbet. The most ironic thing is that they had not even touched the bonus offers that were probably the reason for the money being held back.

Anyway, the point is that casinos can certainly delay your withdrawals if you are in the process of meeting the bonus requirements. This is the general behavior of the whole industry. However, if they are just blocking regular payouts without there being any kind of a bonus, this is a line that the KSA is not allowing them to go beyond.

The KSA figured a warning would do the trick for now, but ZEbet’s parent company ZEturf is having a rough week. Their sports betting arm ZEbetting also caught heat yesterday for taking bets on sketchy tennis markets that weren’t supposed to be available.
